Your responsibility:
As part of our Operations and Continuous Improvement team, you will monitor international, large-scale rollouts of tiko’s IoT solution. You will set up data visualization systems and create the monitoring metrics. You will anticipate possible sources of errors and problems to proactively increase the reliability our alerting systems. You will work with the third-level customer service and development teams to troubleshoot issues, and contribute to the design of next generation systems.
Your profile:
- Masters or bachelor’s degree in Applied Engineering (e.g. Electrical, Electronic, Automation, IT, Computer Science, Mechanical), with a general and diverse technical background
- Experience in conducting the operational monitoring of international large-scale IoT rollouts of connected devices
- Skilled in Technical, Infrastructure, and Business Intelligence Data Visualization Monitoring and Alarming (DVMA)
- Eagerness to analyze field data, find root-causes, abstract the troubleshooting process (e.g. failure tree diagram) and transfer your acquired knowledge back to the organization
- Capacity to foresee potential issues, and proactively propose improvements
- Strong ability to compute large quantities of data
- Basic SQL query know-how and programming skills a must; Python, Zabbix and Grafana knowledge a plus
- English fluency is mandatory
- Valid work permit for Switzerland or Swiss/EU citizenship
